Project Overview
The Aristotle Project is Humana Saúde's Design System, created to transform the application into a digital benchmark in the sector and consolidate the brand identity, which in just three years has established us as one of the largest group health insurance companies in the country. More than a component library, Aristotle is a robust design method, prepared to support the company's accelerated digital expansion. Based on the principles of Atomic Design, it guarantees clarity, standardization, and scalability, evolving from simple to complex and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Problem Statement
The Challenge
The project represents a leap in digital maturity in record time. In just over a year, we went from a scenario where there was no specialized design team, no Figma, and prototypes created by developers, to forming a small specialized team, implementing a proprietary Design System, and delivering a unique and consistent digital experience.


Design Process
To kick off the project, we immersed ourselves in the brand's culture. We analyzed the visual identity and, most importantly, spoke with beneficiaries in the Northeast and South regions to understand what they truly need and feel.
We also conducted a complete audit of the website and applications, as well as a market study to understand the industry landscape.
All of this research formed the basis for mapping design patterns and creating a user interface (UI) inventory, which guided us in building a cohesive and future-proof Design System.

Brand Strategy & Concept Development


After aligning the macros with the directors and managers involved in the project, it was decided to redesign the home screen, creating a new one that could showcase a new phase of promoting health.
Following the proposal and the focus aligned with the stakeholders, the new components were designed, and the solution was implemented with new design standards in code and implementation.
Design Development & Implementation


After two sprints, the implementation of the solution was finalized, tested, and validated in accordance with the brand's vision and needs, and with a focus on improving the user experience.
